How we work
We come to you. We clean in water. We look at the piece with you before we start.
Water and biodegradable detergent
We clean in water with biodegradable detergent, and we set the detergent, movement and temperature for your fabric. We do not use perc or silicone solvent, so there is your clothes feel softer and fresher to wear.
Cleaned and mended together
A zip, a hem or a split seam can be done on the same ticket as the clean, by the same people, in the same building. You do not need a second trip to a tailor.
We come to you
Collection and drop-back are free on orders of £45 or more. No charge to book. Tell us your postcode when you book and we will confirm the day. Or walk in at The Boathouse, Monday to Saturday.

I've been coming to this dry cleaners now for a few months and have had trousers cleaned, suits cleaned and even our super king duvet cleaned. The service here is exceptional, staff are welcoming and professional, turn around time is great but above everything they just do an amazing job. When I picked up my duvet I was blown away by the presentation of the cleaned item and the smell - wow! Could not recommend these guys highly enough. We've also had multiple items of clothing altered by the seamstress who has a work station within the shop and she too is incredible - does a flawless job and turns it round super quick. So glad I found this place.

I had such an amazing experience at Oceans Green Drycleaners. Not only are they top-notch in their services, the staff personnel are so welcoming, warm smiles and were happy to answer my questions patiently. This is forever my go to for everything dry cleaning. Even stains I didn't think was possible to remove, they took care of it and I can gladly wear my favorite white cashmere sweater again.

Was just visiting the area and saw this business online. I had such a great experience with them and I will definitely be coming back when next I’m around. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I honestly can't thank Oceans Green Drycleaners & Garment Alterations enough! My son desperately needed his suit cleaned at the very last minute for a family wedding. I sent them a text the night before explaining that we needed it ready by 10am the following morning, fully expecting it to be a long shot. Not only did they reply quickly, but they went above and beyond to make it happen. The next morning, my son collected his suit and it looked absolutely immaculate. Thanks to their incredible service, we were able to enjoy our family wedding completely stress-free. What impressed me even more was that they didn't take advantage of the urgency by overcharging us. It's so refreshing to find a business that genuinely cares about its customers and delivers such exceptional service with kindness and professionalism. A huge thank you to everyone at Oceans Green. I like to use local businesses but only if a good service is provided and with Oceans Green dry cleaners that is never a problem. Good well managed professional service that I will continue to use.
What we do
Most dry cleaning still runs on perchloroethylene, a solvent usually shortened to perc. Some methods sold as eco use a silicone solvent instead. We run neither. Your clothes are cleaned in water with biodegradable detergent, in a machine set for the fabric in front of us, so they come back without a chemical smell on the hanger.
Bring us everyday clothes, school uniforms, duvets and wedding dresses. If a zip has gone or a hem has dropped, we mend the same garment while it is here rather than sending you to a tailor. If you host or run a small hotel, we turn guest linen around between stays.
We are at The Boathouse in Gillingham, Monday to Saturday, 08:30 to 18:00, so call 01634 577066 or book a collection. Collection and drop-back are free on orders of £45 or more, and there is no charge to book.
